Dr. Melissa Fowler

MBBS FRACGP

Melissa graduated from the University of Queensland in 1995 and then completed her internship at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. She spent the next two years working at the Royal Brisbane, Women's & Children's Hospital and also completed country rotations in St George, Dalby and Maryborough.

In 1999 she commenced general practice training which included time in both Rockhampton and the Gold Coast Sexual Health Clinic. In 2002 Melissa was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Melissa has been working as a dedicated women's health practitioner since 2003 including work for Family Planning QLD in Brisbane and Ipswich.

Melissa is a mum with two children. Melissa continues to work three days a week at Women's Wellbeing and her passions outside of medicine are reading novels, cooking and being an energetic mum.
